What do you want?

A year or so ago, I wrote a post on "Why are we Here?" This post runs along similar lines, just a lil update.

Recently, I've noticed my taking to asking people the question "What do you want?"

Of course, this question can be interpreted in many ways. (Dependent on the situation.)

"What do you want out of this situation?"
"What do you want from life?"
"What are you seeking in life?"
"What is your ultimate goal?"
"What are you living for?"
"What do you wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night for? Who? Why!"

Its knowing your motive for what you do, your purpose. I often ask this question, because I often wonder, what drives people? What do they live for? What makes them do what they do? What drives me? What am I seeking?

We're so thirsty and we keep reaching out, but we find that we don't have direction, a guidance, a path to follow. But even in not knowing your path, you can still know what you're seeking. Life doesn't promise a straight cut out path. What's important to have?

A destination, a hope, a promise.

If you have an end destination, no matter what route the journey takes, you have reached "What you want".

Don't live for nothing. Don't act for nothing. Don't hurt for nothing. Don't go day to day without realizing the impact of your choices and your actions and your words. Don't toss around details of your life.

So the question stands.

What do you want?
